Professional Digital Mixing and Video Integration
The MGX16V combines a professional digital mixer with an integrated video interface. The 4.3-inch touchscreen and 15 + 1 physical fader layout provide hands-on control for live mixing while the video interface adds practical connectivity for streaming, hybrid events, presentations, and content production.
Flexible Audio I/O
The MGX16V provides 8 XLR/TRS combination microphone/line inputs, 4 TRS line inputs and 4 RCA line inputs. Its mixing architecture supports 8 mono channels, 4 stereo channels, a Sound Pad channel and 2 FX return channels. Local outputs include 2 XLR, 8 TRS and 4 headphone outputs.
HDMI-to-USB Video and Audio Interface
The MGX16V is equipped with HDMI input and HDMI passthrough. It can capture HDMI video and audio through USB while also providing real-time HDMI THRU passthrough. HDMI input supports resolutions up to 4K60, while HDMI THRU supports up to 4K60 passthrough.
USB Multitrack Audio
USB MAIN supports up to 22 inputs and 22 outputs at 32-bit / 96 kHz using the Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver. USB Audio Class 2.0 operation is also available with 18 inputs and 16 outputs. USB SUB provides 2-in/2-out audio at up to 16-bit / 48 kHz.
Standalone Recording
The integrated microSD card slot supports recording of up to 16 tracks at 44.1/48 kHz or up to 8 tracks at 88.2/96 kHz, with 2-track playback. This provides a practical standalone recording option for live performances and production workflows.
Bluetooth Audio
Bluetooth 5.0 with A2DP supports two-channel wireless audio input using SBC or AAC codecs, making it convenient for playback, presentations and content-production workflows.
