The Sennheiser e 835 is a dynamic cardioid vocal microphone designed for lead vocals, speech, and stage performance. The vocal microphone shall be a dynamic cardioid microphone intended for speech and vocal applications. The microphone shall provide excellent feedback rejection, low handling noise, and consistent sound quality regardless of varying working distances.

The microphone shall have a frequency response of 40 Hz – 16,000 Hz and a sensitivity (free field, no load) of 2.7 mV/Pa at 1 kHz. Nominal impedance shall be 350 Ω with a minimum terminating impedance of 1 kΩ.

The microphone shall feature a rugged metal housing, integrated hum-compensating coil, shock-mounted capsule, and a balanced 3-pin XLR connector.

Dimensions shall be Ø 48 × 180 mm (1.89″ × 7.09″). Weight shall be approximately 330 grams (11.64 oz).
