ARCHITECT’S SPECIFICATION

The vocal microphone shall be a dynamic cardioid microphone intended for speech and vocal applications. The microphone shall provide excellent feedback rejection, low handling noise, and consistent sound quality regardless of varying working distances. The microphone shall incorporate a silent ON/OFF switch for convenient stage operation.

The microphone shall have a frequency response of 40 Hz – 16,000 Hz and a sensitivity (free field, no load) of 2.7 mV/Pa at 1 kHz. Nominal impedance shall be 350 Ω, with a minimum terminating impedance of 1 kΩ.

The microphone shall feature a rugged metal housing, integrated hum-compensating coil, shock-mounted capsule, silent ON/OFF switch, and a balanced 3-pin XLR connector.

Dimensions shall be Ø 48 × 180 mm (1.89″ × 7.09″). Weight shall be 330 grams (11.64 oz).
