Description
The Yamaha DHR12 is a professional 2-way bi-amped powered loudspeaker designed for sound reinforcement, utility applications and FOH use. It combines a 12-inch LF driver with a 1.4-inch HF compression driver and a Class-D amplifier system delivering 1,000 W peak output.
The DHR12 features Yamaha’s FIR-X Tuning™, using a linear-phase FIR filter for crossover processing, together with DSP functions including HPF and D-CONTOUR. This provides selectable processing modes for different sound reinforcement requirements.
Its frequency response extends from 48 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB), with a maximum output level of 130 dB SPL. The HF horn can be rotated, allowing the speaker to be adapted to different installation orientations.
The DHR12 uses a durable plywood cabinet with a polyurea finish, providing a robust enclosure for demanding professional audio environments. It also features two 35 mm pole sockets supporting 0° and -7° positions. An optional UB-DXRDHR12 U-bracket is available for installation applications.

The DHR12’s lightweight, high performance Class-D amplifier is capable of producing 1000W of power, achieving an SPL of 130dB, delivered with remarkable clarity and dynamic characteristics.

Easy-to-use Onboard 2-Channel Mixer
DHR12 speakers have two input channels. CH1 has a combo jack which accepts either XLR and TRS Phone allowing Mic or Line level input signals. CH2 offers two input options; a combo jack that accepts XLR or TRS Phone, and a pair of RCA pin Jacks for input from CD
players or other stereo line-level sources. The onboard mixer allows you to select either CH1+2 MIX to mix the signal of CH1 and CH2, or CH1 THRU to pass the signal from CH1 only.
