Supporting SNMPv3

SNMP is an industry standard IT protocol used for network device and application monitoring from small systems up to global enterprise level IT environments. Lightware Taurus video switchers are supporting SNMPv3 -the latest and most secure version- and can be integrated to standard IT device monitoring systems like SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, etc.

This way there is no need to create and setup custom AV monitoring solutions neither to invest energy in maintaining those. Lightware Taurus devices can be added to the IT enterprise network and device monitoring system easily and hustle free using the well known standard applications.

Remote System Logging (Syslog)

Taurus devices now support remote system logging via industry-standard Syslog protocols (RFC3164 and RFC5424). This allows seamless integration with external SIEM and log monitoring systems.

Cisco Room Multistream Experience with a Single USB-C Connection

Elevate the BYOD experience in your Cisco Room Kit EQ,  Roomkit Pro, or Room Kit Plus powered spaces with Lightware’s UCX-4×3-HCM40 Dual-Screen solution.  This verified integration delivers true multistream sharing over a single USB-C cable, works flawlessly with both MTR and RoomOs and MTR experience, and can be configured in just minutes.

How easy to setup? Both the Cisco codec and the Lightware UCX-4×3-HCM40 operate in factory-default mode with no virtual sources configured.  The Cisco codec’s EDID is emulated to all UCX inputs  symply select these presets, disable HDCP, and set the routing in Lightware Device Controller.  That’s all it takes to achieve a fully automated, plug-and-play dual-screen BYOD experience with native 4K resolution, intelligent EDID handling, and stable USB follow-video routing in MTR and RoomOS environments.
