ARCHITECT’S SPECIFICATION
The microphone shall be a professional moving-coil dynamic microphone with a supercardioid pickup pattern designed for studio recording, broadcast, speech reinforcement, instrument miking, and live sound applications.
The microphone shall feature a spring-mounted capsule for excellent isolation from handling noise, an integrated hum-compensating coil, five-position bass roll-off switch, switchable brilliance (treble boost) control, and an integral acoustic pop filter. The microphone shall provide exceptionally accurate transient response, excellent feedback rejection, and distortion-free performance at very high sound pressure levels.
The microphone shall provide a frequency response of 30 Hz – 20,000 Hz and a sensitivity (free field, no load) of 1.8 mV/Pa at 1 kHz. Nominal impedance shall be 200 Ω with a minimum terminating impedance of 1 kΩ.
The microphone shall provide a balanced 3-pin XLR connector and require no external power supply.
