Description
The Sennheiser MZA 900 P is a professional phantom power adapter designed to connect pre-polarized condenser microphones with a 3.5 mm jack plug to standard microphone inputs with 10 – 52 V phantom power. It provides a reliable wired solution for microphones originally designed for wireless applications, allowing seamless integration into professional audio systems, studios, and live sound environments.
Featuring a lockable 3.5 mm jack socket and a balanced 3-pin XLR output connector, the MZA 900 P supplies power to the connected microphone while maintaining excellent signal integrity. ARCHITECT’S SPECIFICATION
The phantom power adapter shall be designed for connecting pre-polarized condenser microphones with a 3.5 mm jack connector to professional microphone inputs providing 10 – 52 V phantom power (P12 – P48).
The adapter shall feature a lockable 3.5 mm input socket, balanced 3-pin XLR male output connector, switchable pre-attenuation, and switchable roll-off filter. The unit shall provide reliable microphone powering and allow professional wired operation of compatible microphones originally intended for wireless applications.
The adapter shall provide a frequency response of 20 Hz – 20,000 Hz (-1 dB), switchable pre-attenuation of 0 dB / –12 dB, and a switchable low-frequency roll-off filter at 125 Hz (-3 dB, 12 dB/oct).
The output impedance shall be 100 Ω. The adapter shall operate with P12 – P48 phantom power, requiring 10 – 52 V DC at 2.6 – 2.8 mA.
Dimensions shall be Ø 19/22 × 100 mm. Weight shall be 60 grams.
